Some links on Clutch Deals are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This helps keep the site free. Our editorial process is independent: affiliate status does not affect which deals get listed or how they are ranked.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a retailer you arrived from Clutch Deals. When you complete a qualifying purchase through such a link, the retailer pays us a commission (typically 1–10% of the sale price). The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not the link is an affiliate link.
Which Links Are Affiliate Links?
Affiliate links may appear anywhere on the Site, including deal cards, deal detail pages, and “Go to Deal” buttons. We currently participate in the following affiliate programmes:
- Amazon Associates (AU) — amazon.com.au
- eBay Partner Network (AU) — ebay.com.au
- Other retailer affiliate programmes as added from time to time
User-submitted deals may link directly to retailer pages without an affiliate tag where no programme exists. Not all links on the Site are affiliate links.
How Affiliate Earnings Are Used
Affiliate commissions help fund the costs of running Clutch Deals, including server infrastructure, AI deal scoring, and development. The Site is free to use because of this revenue model.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships do not influence:
- Which deals are listed on the Site
- AI quality scores assigned to deals
- Community vote rankings
- Moderation and approval decisions
Deals from non-affiliated retailers appear alongside deals from affiliated retailers on the same basis. We do not feature, promote, or boost deals based on commission rates.
Sponsored Deals
From time to time we may feature paid sponsored deals. These are clearly labelled with a “Sponsored” tag and are visually distinct from organic community deals. We only accept sponsored deals that represent genuine value to our users.
ACCC Compliance
This disclosure is made in accordance with guidelines published by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) regarding commercial relationships and endorsements. We are committed to honest, transparent advertising practices under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law, which prohibit misleading or deceptive conduct.
